Attention Guest Users

For over ten years, Elmira Telegram ( now Twin Tiers Living ) have brought you news and other topics for neighbors to talk about. During that time, certain sections of this site have been "members only" to not only protect intellectual property but also to try and encourage guest users to sign up for an account and take part in discussions here on the site. 

However recent events and the general atmosphere in our society sees peoples's statements taken out of context and spread with malicious intent or outright doxxing of individuals, causing a threat to their safety and/or livelihood. 

In light of these events and actions, we feel it is in the best interest of the site's members to close off the site, and thus the conversation, to the general public. Those wishing to take part here are still welcome to sign up for a free account. The establishment of an account allows site admins to be able to monitor activity as well as provide law enforcement with information in the event of harassment or threats being made.

Perhaps at some point we will reconsider this decision.
